周卫健,女,汉族,1953年3月生于贵州贵阳,河南南乐人,1968年12月参加工作,1993年2月加入九三学社,在职研究生学历,理学博士,研究员,中国科学院院士、第三世界科学院院士。现任中科院地球环境研究所副所长,中科院地质学部副主任、常委。

科研领域

主要从事宇宙成因核素(14C,10Be等)在地球环境科学中的应用研究。她等检出东亚季风新仙女木(YD)事件的地质证据并指出东亚YD事件百年尺度季风变率特征和全球寒冷性质;较早指出高低纬气候和海陆气相互作用以及古ENSO对YD季风降水突变事件的贡献;提出氧同位素阶段3南北半球夏季太阳辐射梯度对东亚季风的重要影响;根据中国黄土10Be记录重建了晚更新世高分辨率地磁场强度和季风降水变化历史,拓展了黄土10Be记录示踪环境变化的研究方向。率先建立液闪14C小样品以及加速器微量样品装置,形成了大样品-小样品-微量样品的14C制样序列,建立了不同类型样品前处理方法。她提出并主持建成了多核素分析的“西安加速器质谱中心”。曾获国家自然科学二等奖、三等奖,五项省部级一等奖和发明专利1项。

先后负责国家基金委 “杰出青年科学基金”, “优秀青年科学家群体”,“重点项目”,973(二级),科技部基础研究的前期专项和中科院重要方向项目等重要课题;获“首届全国百篇优秀博士学位论文奖”,作为主持和主要参加者获五项省部级一等奖,一项国家级二等奖、三等奖和一项专利。此外,获多项荣誉称号。共发表论文近百篇。
